Who Will Handle My Proposal?

The Preaward Services Team reviews and approves grants and contracts on behalf of the University. Once your application materials are received, the PreAward Reviewer assigned to your department will review the information and will contact the PI with any questions.

OSP requests that every effort is made to submit your application to our office no less than 5 business days prior to the agency deadline. By submitting your application early, OSP will be able to review the application thoroughly and identify problems that may need to be addressed as well as allow the PI ample time to the finalize the proposal prior to submission to the sponsor.

In addition to the staff listed above, many departments now have grant administrators who can assist with proposal preparation. Please contact your Department Head's office to determine if an administrator is available in your department.
