Pre-Award Authorization Request

If an award is expected, the PI may request pre-award coding from OSP. Pre-award coding is approved only if OSP has sufficient evidence that the funds have been committed by the sponsor. Upon approval, OSP assigns temporary coding to the project authorizing limited spending.
